Private Investigator Course at SCF Bradenton

(Bradenton, Fla., Feb. 24, 2016) – State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Workforce Solutions will offer a Private Investigator course beginning Feb. 26 at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W. This course provides the basic information on becoming a licensed private investigator. Information includes regulation of the industry, department rules, licensing criteria and techniques of investigation.

Classes in the 40-hour course will be held Friday, Feb. 26; Saturday, Feb. 27; Sunday, Feb. 28; Friday, March 4; Saturday, March 5; and Sunday, March 6. Fridays’ classes are 6 to 10 p.m., and Saturdays’ and Sundays’ classes are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Cost of the five-day course is $395.

This course meets the state licensing requirements to earn the Private Investigator Intern license and qualifies applicants to apply for a private investigator's internship through the Florida Division of Licensing. Classes are instructed by Susan Ewell, President/CEO of SCI Investigations and William Kemper, Criminal Justice professor at SCF and University of South Florida.
