Trio Voila to Perform at SCF

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) welcomes Trio Voila to perform a variety of musical selections at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, in Neel Performing Arts Center, SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W.

Trio Voila features Jane Hoffman on flute, Thomas Koch on guitar and Laura Jensen-Jennings on viola. The trio will perform music from the 19th and 20th centuries along with contemporary compositions. Offering a unique musical experience, this combination of instruments produces sounds that cannot be created by traditional wind and string ensembles.

Hoffman is a former faculty member at Humboldt State University in California and fellow in the Sarasota Music Festival. Koch teaches music at SCF, Florida Gulf Coast University and Booker High School, and has performed as a soloist with many Southwest Florida orchestras. Jensen-Jennings is principal second violinist with the Florida West Coast Symphony.
