SCF Alumnus to Speak About Attending Dental School

(Bradenton, Fla., Dec. 6, 2016) — The American Chemical Society affiliate at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host alumnus Jose Roque, who will speak on his journey through dental school at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., Building 19 Nursing Auditorium.

SCF has a Dental Hygiene Program that prepares students for employment as clinicians in a variety of settings, including private dental practices and public health departments. Graduates earn an associate in science degree and become eligible to take the National Board Examination and Florida State Licensing Examination. The Dental Hygiene Program application period starts Jan. 1 and ends Jan. 31 for the class starting in Summer 2017.
