SCF Library Hosts Student Graphic Arts Exhibit

(Bradenton, Fla., April 27, 2017) — Students in thegraphic design program at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) are exhibiting posters through May 5 in the library at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W. The posters were designed in conjunction with the student art exhibit at SCF’s Fine Art Gallery.

Graphic design students were challenged to come up with a poster to promote the student art exhibit. The winning poster is on display in the gallery and the library. The exhibit also includes information on graphic design and even some old typography books.

The poster exhibit is free and open to the public. Library hours are 7:45 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays, and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays. The student art exhibit also is free and open to the public. The art gallery is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
