Enrollment Under Way for Fall Term Classes at MCC
(Bradenton, Fla., June 29, 2005) - Enrollment for all students is now under way for Fall term 2005 classes at Manatee Community College (MCC). New student applications for admission for Fall term classes that start Aug. 22 through 26 are requested by Monday, Aug. 15. Applications will continue to be accepted for Fall term classes with other starting dates. First-time college students must make appointments for orientation prior to Web registration, which is available for all students who have completed the admissions process. Class schedules may be viewed on MCC's Web site at www.scf.edu.
Fall term 2005 begins Aug. 22 and ends Dec. 15. Students make take day, evening and distance learning classes. Programs leading to one-year certificates and two-year associate in arts, associate in applied science and associate in science degrees are offered. Classes are held at MCC Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West; MCC Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail; the Center for Innovation and Technology at MCC Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway East; and at other off-site locations.
Regular student services office hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday. A one-time $40 application fee ($75 for international students) is required for new students. Tuition is $66.11 per hour for in-state students and $245.05 per hour for out-of-state students.
