MCC Venice Hosts Fall 2005 Open House
(Bradenton, Fla., Sept. 12, 2005) - Manatee Community College (MCC) Venice will offer an opportunity during a Fall 2005 Open House program for high school students, their families and others interested in higher education to learn about the college and the programs and services it offers. An MCC scholarship drawing will be held for eligible high school students.
An Open House will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11, in the newly remodeled Professional Development Center, building 800, at MCC Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail.
MCC offers two-year associate in arts (A.A.), associate in science (A.S.) and associate in applied science (A.A.S.) degrees. Students who intend to transfer to university programs as well as students who want to immediately enter the workforce can find out about convenient and affordable opportunities and take campus tours at the open houses. MCC services to be explored include:
- academic departments;
- student clubs and organizations;
- admissions and registration; and
- financial aid and scholarships.
