Pinebrook South Camera Club Exhibits at MCC Venice
(Venice, Fla., Oct. 17, 2005) - Members of the Pinebrook South Camera Club will exhibit framed prints that demonstrate the versatility and capabilities of digital technology in an exhibit that continues through Dec. 8 at the Manatee Community College (MCC) Venice Fine Art Gallery, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail.
The club was founded by Lowell Wentworth in 1991 for residents of the Pinebrook subdivision in Venice and others who share a love of photography. All members use digital, single lens, reflex cameras and a variety of lenses and do their own matting. Approximately 60 prints will be displayed in the MCC exhibit, including panoramas and a 20-by-30 inch blowup.
The exhibit is located in the library foyer. Regular gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. For more information, call (941) 408-1476.
