MCC Music Faculty Perform Jan. 17

(Bradenton, Fla., Dec. 14, 2005) - Solos, chamber music and jazz will be performed by talented Manatee Community College (MCC) faculty members in a Music Faculty Artists Recital at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 17, in Neel Performing Arts Center, located off 26^th Street at 60^th Avenue West. An on-stage catered reception will follow the concert.

Featured musicians include Felicia Brunelle, violin; Nathan Frantz, viola; Melodie Dickerson Guinta, soprano; Chung-Yon Hong, violin; Robert Lischetti, tenor; Marc Mannino, jazz guitar; Mike Markaverich, jazz piano; Laurie Penpraze, trombone; Leonidas Sarakatsannis, piano; Tom Suta, drums; Joyce Valentine, piano; Lydia van Dreel, French horn; Sasha von Dassow, cello; and Rex Willis, guitar.

After an evening of music, members of the audience have an opportunity to join the performers on stage for a catered reception.
