Learn About Admissions & Financial Aid at MCC

(Bradenton, Fla., March 1, 2007) - Students and prospective students of all ages and interests are invited to learn more about Manatee Community College's (MCC) programs and services - particularly the admissions process and financial aid opportunities - at upcoming Admissions and College Funding Workshops at 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, Web Registration Room, room 247, MCC Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West; room 173, Web Registration Room, MCC Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail; and room 142, MCC Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway East.

Potential students can get hands-on assistance in preparing an admissions application and a member of MCC's financial aid team will discuss all types of available aid and answer specific questions. Participants also will learn about MCC programs and how to get a successful start at the college.

MCC offers an associate in arts (A.A.) degree and some associate in science (A.S.) degrees for students who intend to transfer to university programs and more than 20 associate in applied science (A.A.S.) degrees that prepare students to enter the workforce immediately upon graduation.
