Last Days for First-time Students to Apply for Fall

(Bradenton, Fla., Aug. 10,  2007) - The last day first-time-in-college (FTIC) students may apply for Fall term 2007 classes at Manatee Community College (MCC) is Wednesday, Aug. 15.

The Fall term begins Monday, Aug. 20. Admission information is available on MCC's Web site at www.scf.edu/Admissions. View class offerings at www.scf.edu/ClassSchedules.

Programs leading to two-year associate in arts, associate in applied science and associate in science degrees and one-year certificates are offered. Classes are held at MCC Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West; MCC Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail; the Center for Innovation and Technology at MCC Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway East; and at several off-site locations.

Regular student services office hours at MCC Bradenton and Venice are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday. A $10 documentation fee is required for all students, and new international students pay a $75 admission application fee. Tuition is $69.69 per hour for in-state students and $256.95 per hour for out-of-state students.
