Spring Open Houses at Bradenton & Venice
(Bradenton, Fla., Jan. 9, 2008) - Manatee Community College (MCC) will offer an opportunity during Spring 2008 Open House programs for high school students, their families and others interested in higher education to learn about the college and the programs and services it offers. An MCC scholarship drawing will be held for eligible high school students.
An Open House will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the Student Union, building 14, MCC Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West, and Tuesday, March 4, in the Selby Room, building 800, MCC Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail.
MCC offers two-year associate in arts (A.A.), associate in science (A.S.) and associate in applied science (A.A.S.) degrees. Students who intend to transfer to university programs as well as students who want to immediately enter the workforce can find out about convenient and affordable opportunities and take campus tours at the open houses. They will learn about:
- academic departments;
- financial aid; and
- how to get started.
