Studio 84 Presents Collection of One-Act Plays
(Bradenton, Fla., Jan. 30, 2008 - Manatee Community College (MCC) Studio 84 Productions will combine comedy, drama and music to take a thought-provoking and entertaining look at ethics in today's America in "Morality Made Easy." The collection of four one-act plays and several musical numbers will be performed at 8 p.m., Feb. 21-23, in the Chamber Theatre, which is in room 123 of building 11, located to the right of the main entrance to Neel Performing Arts Center off 26th Street at 60th Avenue West, MCC Bradenton.
Directed by Ken Erickson Jr., the production presents a range of works from the serious to the lighthearted. They include a look at life lived under a bridge rather than in a warm home in "Blues," and "God…It's a Tough Job," which gives the Almighty a chance to talk to his creations one-on-one. Cast members are April Barnwell, Kyle Bliss, Kira Borrowdale, Lilrachia Brooks, Irene Chandler, Adam Condor, Nicholas DeLisi, Joshua Fishbein, Jenna Gagliano, Molly Healy, Brian Jackson, Megan Kroger, Andrew O'Brien, Gilbert Ortiz, Whitney Reshard, Dayton Sinkia, Katelyn Studer, Chelsea Stump, Jennifer Warber, Sherrell Watts and Zachary Yowarski.
The 59-seat Chamber Theatre Box Office opens an hour before each performance. General admission is $10. Tickets are $5 for Florida students and MCC staff. Tickets go on sale Feb. 6 in the Neel Performing Arts Center Box Office. For more information, call (941) 752-5252.
