MCC Business Analyst Wins Regional Award
(Bradenton, Fla., July 7, 2008) - Art Mahoney, a Manatee Community College (MCC) Small Business Development Center (SBDC) business analyst, received the Regional Certified Business Analyst of the Year award from the Florida SBDC Network at an annual conference held in June in Daytona Beach.
Mahoney's award recognized his expertise in marketing, teamwork, resource utilization and client impact. Mahoney has broad experience in marketing and business development. He is former president of a Colorado marketing agency voted "best strategic marketing company" by Colorado Business magazine for two consecutive years.
Mahoney volunteers his marketing expertise to Sarasota organizations that include the Chamber of Commerce, Jewish Family and Children's Service, and Senior Friendship Center. He is a member of the Sarasota Economic Development Corporation's marketing committee. Mahoney has a bachelor's degree in journalism from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N.J., and attended Boston University's Graduate School of Public Relations and Communication.
