Real Estate Classes Taught at SCF Lakewood Ranch
(Bradenton, Fla., September 1, 2009) - Those seeking a career in real estate can attain training at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF). The 63-hour Principles and Practices pre-licensing course will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 21 to Dec.7 and the 45-hour Salesperson Post-License course will be held from 6 to 10 p.m., Fridays, Sept. 18 to Dec. 11. Both classes are held at SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway East, Sarasota.
The pre-licensing course meets the requirements of the Florida Real Estate Commission to obtain a salesperson's license or satisfy 21 or more hours of recertification continuing education. Satisfactory completion qualifies the student to take the state examination in Florida.
The post-licensing course reviews real estate financing and documentation, appraising, property management, listing, contracts, titles, insurance and agency relationships. All licensed salespersons must take this course prior to renewal. A final exam is required.
