Real Estate Classes Taught at MCC Lakewood Ranch
(Bradenton, Fla., Jan. 15, 2009) - Those seeking a career in real estate can attain training at Manatee Community College (MCC). The 63-hour Principles and Practices Salesperson Prelicensing Course will be held 6 to 9 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan. 21 to April 8 at MCC Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway East, Sarasota. The 45-hour Salesperson Post-licensing Course will be held 6 to 10 p.m., Fridays, Jan. 23 to April 17 at MCC Lakewood Ranch.
The prelicensing course meets the requirements of the Florida Real Estate Commission to obtain a salesperson's license or satisfy 21 or more hours of recertification continuing education. Satisfactory completion qualifies the student to take the state examination in Florida.
The post-licensing course teaches real estate financing and documentation, appraising, property management, listing, contracts, titles, insurance and agency relationship. All licensed salespersons must take this course prior to renewal. A final exam is required.
