  • Combine college planning activities with accreditation mandates (link quality enhancement and institutional improvement efforts to the assessment and accountability expectations of the State and SACS)
  • Dual charge:
    • Strategic Planning
    • Institutional Effectiveness
  • Merge planning, assessment, accountability, and improvement activities into a comprehensive and cohesive quality enhancement strategy/plan for SCF
  • Focus on both the process and product of planning
  • Strengthen all programs and services offered at SCF
  • Focus on student learning and development outcomes
  • Link strategic planning to financial planning (budget)
  • Meet/exceed accreditation criteria
