NEW!  Fine Art Gallery Multiple Opportunities:  Enthusiastic and motivated individuals interested in art, exhibition design, history, library science, service, writing and research to assist in the areas of:  events, exhibitions, web design, communications, museum registration, provenance research, archives management and photographic documentation.  Days and times are flexible, Mondays - Fridays and some evening hours available.

UPDATE!  "Patients" for Radiography SIMULATIONS:    Volunteers will assist Radiography students in lab SIMULATIONS (no real x-rays performed).  Thursdays during summer term.

 

ONGOING!  Scanners:  These volunteers will scan and image records for electronic filing in an active environment.  This is a seated assignment requiring an eye for and comfort dealing with detailed information and high volumes of documents.  Days and times are flexible, Mondays - Fridays, 8:00 a.m. - Noon or 12:30 - 4:30 p.m.

 

Community Event Rep:  Sell SCF merchandise at a table during various campus events.  Volunteers will set-up/tear-down table, merchandise and displays, process cash and credit card payments (easy, quick training provided).  Days and times are flexible:  Mondays through Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Product Sampler Rep:  Hand out samples of new products in the cafeteria during breakfast and lunch (and try them yourself!), answer questions about the products and assist with table set-up/tear-down. Days and times are flexible:  Mondays through Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Concessions Stand and Merchandise Sales at Manatees Home Games:  Sell concessions and SCF Manatees merchandise at home games.  Volunteers will meet and greet visitors, make correct change/count money and be trained in credit card machine use and operation of popcorn machine (easy!).  Light lifting (<25 pounds) and standing.  Dates and times vary between teams' seasons.  Come on down!
