Personal enrichment courses enable people from all segments of the community to clarify values, increase operatonal skills and enhance personal growth. Programs are available to learners of all ages through multiple instructional deliveries. Art for Creative Growth - New! - In this hands-on workshop, students will experiment in creating art in many different mediums using sand paintings, sand trays, mandalas and spontaneous drawings. The class is open to those of any skill level. This class offers a glimpse into the field of art therapy, which can foster a sense of inner peace, wholeness and stress relief. This course introduces the concept of art therapy for those who may choose to pursue further study.

F loral Design - New! - Learn the art of floral arranging and how to create beautiful arrangements just like the professionals.

Paint Your Favorite Landscape! - New! - The class is for beginners and intermediate painters of acrylic or oils. You will receive individual attention while learning professional painting techniques and developing your skills. Learn to recreate your favorite views, landscapes and vacation spots that you can hang on your wall.

Ace Tennis for Adults - New! - This six-week tennis clinic for adults will provide tennis instruction and practice in the fundamentals of all strokes including: forehand, backhand, serve and volley. You will learn the rules and strategy of the game and find out how to join local tennis groups and leagues. The course is offered at two skill levels: beginners and advanced beginners.

Ace Youth Tennis Clinic - New! - The six-week tennis clinic will focus on providing youth instruction and practice in the fundamentals of all strokes including: forehand, backhand, serve and volley. You will learn the rules of the game along with preparing yourself for general fitness and exercise. The course is offered at two skill levels: beginners and advanced beginners, and two age groups: 6-8 and 9-13.

Beginner Golf for Adults (Eight Weeks)

Beginning Tai Chi - Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise developed in China centuries ago. It consists of a series of easily learned, nonstrenuous movements promoting flexibility, coordination and stress reduction. Tai Chi is well-suited for everyone regardless of age.

Neck, Shoulder & Back Massage - Learn techniques to reduce stress, alleviate headaches or just give a great gift of relaxation. Classmates will practice on each other. Please bring a pillow and wear comfortable clothes.

Reiki Level 1 - Reiki has been growing in popularity among nurses and healthcare providers. Now, you can use this natural system of healing on yourself and those you care about. The Reiki system of healing is easy to learn and safe to use. Reiki even can be used to help calm overactive children. This class will cover information on the aura and chakra system. This class promises plenty of hands-on activity, meditations and attunements. You also will earn a Usui Reiki Level One certification.

Reiki Level 2 - This class will include an overview of Reiki I. You will receive Reiki II attunement which greatly increases the strength of your Reiki energy. You will also receive three Reiki symbols and how to use them for healing, releasing unwanted habits and empowering goals. You can practice complete treatment using all symbols and do meditation, breathing and grounding work. We will discuss spiritual development and self care, Reiki in hospitals, Reiki exchange groups and also developing and incorporating Reiki into your practice, creating ambience. You will receive a certificate of completion for Reiki Level II.

Opera Workshop - This five-week course will focus on stage movement, acting, role preparation and characterization for various periods and styles, culminating in a performance of various scenes from several operas. Professional opera singers Carol Sparrow and Randolph Locke will offer their 60 combined years of experience performing opera leading roles. Students must qualify vocally.
