Steps to Starting a New Business - If you're considering starting a business, you probably need the following: money, marketing, and guidance. This class will be of benefit to people contemplating starting a business.

Writing the Ultimate Business Plan - A well-constructed business plan can help pave the way to a successful business. Learn how to identify target markets, assemble a marketing plan, and determine economic viability of a business. This seminar includes the use of Ultimate Financial Forecaster, software retailing $99.  

Creating a Brand Customers Will Love - If you're starting a business, you need to figure out how to get potential customers to notice you so that they'll give you business. How do the big guys like Nike or Coke do it? This class will help you stand out and get noticed.

Tech Stuff Happens

A Cool Website That Works - You know you need a Website. How will you go about getting what you need? What will you put on your Website that will both capture and keep people's attention? How will your site get exposure on Google? These questions and more will be addressed.  

Face It: You Need Facebook - What exactly is this thing called Facebook that everyone seems to be talking about and using? If you're in business, you need to have a presence on Facebook. 

Social Networking for Your Business - Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc. What are these sites really about and which one(s) should you look into? They are all social media Websites and can be extremely beneficial for your business.

Dollars and Sense

Basic Bookkeeping for Business - Learn how to classify and record basic business transactions, enter data in an account or register, and execute other bookkeeping related functions. Learn about basic accounting terms, how records and reports are created, and about the materials needed for tax compliance. Different types of accounting software will be examined.

Chart of Accounts/Organize Business Financially - Proper financial organization of your business is crucial. Financial records are the lifeblood of your business. You will learn the ways in which financial organization can be achieved.

QuickBooks - QuickBooks is intermediate accounting software that will help you to understand the big picture of accounting processes. You will learn to create customer, vendor, product, and employee lists and use them to create purchase orders, receive/pay bills, create invoices, customize reports, and create graphs.
[Note: Participants are required to take the Chart of Accounts class prior to taking QuickBooks.]

Understanding Financial Statements - Participants will learn how to read and interpret their financial statements.

Going Global, International Trade Basic - NEW - Expanding your market outside of the United States could prove to be a very smart business move. Learn the basics of international trade so that you can come up with a game plan and discover readily available resources.
