Recognition Program

The Pride in Excellence Recognition Program is for employees, supervisors, and student workers, and includes formal and informal recognition methods. The recognition program aligns with the Pride in Excellence philosophy and its standards and is meant to create a positive work environment for employees.

Current Recognition Awards

You Enriched a Life: This column in SCF Extra showcases employees who model the Pride in Excellence philosophy—"We enrich lives by providing a welcoming and supportive learning community that fosters success" and at least one of the four service standards—Respectful, Responsive, Accurate, Collaborative. Please email your nominations to WeEnrichLives@scf.edu of a College employee or group of employees relating what they did to be recognized.

Pride in Excellence Smile Cards: These "calling cards" are a part of an anonymous recognition campaign that was designed as an informal way to thank others for acting in ways that are consistent with the Pride in Excellence philosophy and standards. They are usually accompanied by a small token of appreciation. If you have received one, please pass it on—anonymously—to someone you believe shows Pride in Excellence and make the person smile.
