Tim Hill II

 

Assistant Head Coach  

Tim Hill II is in his 12th year as an assistant coach at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota. A 1990 graduate of SCF, Coach Hill played in the Lancer baseball program from 1988 to 1990.  He was named to the 1988 All-State Academic team and the 1990 All-State Tournament team.

Coach Hill received his B.S.B.A. degree in marketing from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 1992 where he graduated with cum laude honors. Upon graduation from UCF, Coach Hill spent three years in the Boston Red Sox organization in business operations. From 1993 to 1995, he was the Red Sox's director of merchandising for Major League Spring Training and was an assistant general manager for the Fort Lauderdale Red Sox and the Sarasota Red Sox during the 1993 and 1994 Florida State League seasons.

From 1995 to 1998, Coach Hill was an assistant baseball coach at Georgia Southwestern State University where he also received his master's degree in health and physical education in 1997. In 1998, he helped coach Georgia Southwestern to a Georgia Athletic Conference Championship and a berth in the NAIA Southeastern Regional Tournament.

At SCF, Coach Hill's baseball duties include all phases of the offense and defense as well as coaching third base. In addition to his baseball coaching duties, he is also the Lancers' recruiting coordinator. Coach Hill works in SCF's student services department as the Student Life Advisor.

Coach Hill is married to the former Belinda Walker of Stuart, Florida. They are proud parents of Timothy W. Hill III and Leigha Elizabeth Hill.
