Welcome to SCF Volleyball

Dear Family, Friends and Fans,

Welcome to the State College of Florida Manatees Volleyball Program and to what is shaping up to be one of the most exciting volleyball seasons ever!  Our talented athletes are passionate, excited and ready to represent our college and community proudly.  We invite you to join us at Hal Chasey Gymnasium for exciting, fast paced volleyball action.

Our Lady Manatees competed in the Suncoast Conference of the Florida Region, one of the most competitive in the country. With three teams ranked in the top 20 in the nation, our athletes are up to the challenge and excited about competing at the top level.

The 2010 Manatees team includes 8 returning players and 7 new.  This dynamic and talented group of young women are working very hard and have quickly bonded into a close and tight knit family.  It has been a true pleasure for me and our staff to work with all of them and watch them take their personal and team game to a higher level with every practice.

SCF Volleyball is committed to helping our young women achieve their full academic, athletic and personal potential during their time here. We promote the traditional values of respect, commitment, personal responsibility and hard work as the foundation of our Volleyball Culture.

Through our philosophy of teamwork, self-discipline and striving for excellence, we aspire to achieve the highest level of success both in the classroom as well as on the volleyball court. As such, our athletes will have an opportunity to learn skills that will help them in all areas of their lives and help them be, all that they are capable of becoming.

Our dedicated staff respects each student as an individual; their personal welfare is our highest priority.
