Admission to the College
All prospective students must submit a completed application,in person or online application for admissions to the Educational Records office. Transcipts and any other records for admissions consideration must also be submitted. Students must ask their high school or other college attended, to forward official academic transcript of their records directly to the Educational Records office.
State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF), requires a standard high school diploma or GED for admission. In addition, all prospective students must provide recent placement test scores (ACT, SAT, or FPT). SCF ,is an open enrollment institution and uses placement scores, not as admissions criteria, but to place students in the appropriate English, math and reading courses.
