The Disabled Resource Center (DRC) strives to advocate for, and provide support services to, disabled individuals to increase their chances for success and to empower them to reach their full potential. Disabled individuals are free to chose which DRC services, if any, they wish to use. The center tries to streamline and coordinate the services of other campus offices and resources and offers a "one stop" approach to enrollment at the college.
The DRC also works with a variety of public and private agencies serving disabled populations (Community Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Division of Blind Services, United Cerebral Palsy, etc.) so that they best meet the educational needs of the individuals and to facilitate disabled students' integration into the mainstream of college life. In addition to coordination of services, the DRC offers information and resources on topics such as advocacy and vocational guidance,
Policies and Procedures are provided to assist disabled individuals so that they will more effectively understand and utilize the services of the Disability Resource Center (DRC). All services of the DRC (Access and Support) are available free of charge to qualified Disabled Individuals. For more information please visit the DRC: DRC Contact Information
