Not sure how to pay for college? State College of Florida's financial aid services office provides guidance on grants, scholarships, student employment and loans to help you pay your college expenses.

Very Important:

 

  • Hours of Operation until 5/26/12

Mondays : 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Tuesday:  8 a.m. - 6 p.m.  

Wednesdays: 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Thursdays:  8 a.m. - 6 p.m.  

Fridays: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

 

  •   Summer Financial Aid Awarding

Summer financial aid applications are processed in the order received. Advance registration fees for the summer enrollments sessions are due May 7. Please continue to monitor your SCF Connect Account for your financial aid status.

 

  • Using Summer Financial Aid in SCF Book Store

5/10/12 - 5/23/12: Books may be charged against awarded financial aid in the SCF book store if financial aid is greater than course tuition and fees. Students should review their account balance online. If they have a credit balance, they should go directly to The SCF Bradenton or SCF Venice to purchase books and authorized supplies.

 

  • 2012-2013 Financial Aid Awarding

Freshmen awards are made as students are admitted and complete all financial aid requirements.  Returning student awards will be made after spring semester grades are evaluated. Please continue to monitor your SCF Connect Account for your financial aid status.

 

  • Watch your  SCFconnect for financial aid status updates.

  • Please see the academic calendar for all upcoming deadlines.

  • Bright Future students must have an error free FAFSA.

  • Important changes to Veteran Benefits: Updates to VA Benefits  

  • Students are required to submit their current FL prepaid card to the Fin. Aid Office at least once in the attending academic calendar year.

  • For Students taking late starting classes - disbursements of your student loans will occur once you begin attending at half time status which is 6 credit hours.

Important Updates from Financial Aid: 

As a result of recent legislative changes, you should be aware of a number of new requirements for the federal student aid programs. Most of these changes are effective with the 2012-13 school year (July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013). Click here for more information.
