Important Notice to All Students Receiving Financial Aid

There have been some recent mandatory changes to our Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy that may affect some students’ eligibility for continued financial aid for the upcoming and future semesters.  Federal regulations require the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota to maintain a policy that will ensure Satisfactory Academic Progress is being achieved for all students receiving Federal financial aid.  Click here to view the revised policy.  You are strongly encouraged to read the entire SAP policy, which will provide you with more specific details.   It is your responsibility to read and understand these policies.

To check your status regarding Satisfactory Academic Progress, and to see if you are on Financial Aid Probation or Suspension, you may log into SCF Connect, then click on:

  •         Student Services & Financial Aid
  •         Financial Aid
  •         My Overall Status of Financial Aid

If you do not meet the requirements stated in the policy, you may be placed on probation or suspended from Federal financial aid.   For those placed on financial aid suspension, you have the right to appeal.  Click here to download the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeal Form.

We want you to have a great experience while attending SCF.   If you have questions, please contact the Financial Aid Services office by calling 941.752.5037 or send an email to:  finaidappeals@scf.edu
