Advising Availability

Please be informed the School Certifying Officials for VA educational benefits are not academic advisors.  If you need to see an academic advisor in the Advising Center, their general hours are:

8:00 am to 6:00 pm Mondays & Tuesdays.

8:00 am to 4:30 pm Wednesday through Friday (summer and peak times may vary) 

Appointments are possible, depending on the time of year.  For this information you will need to call the Advising Center directly:  Advising Center, Bradenton Campus at (941) 752-5035 or Venice Campus at (941) 408-1416.

Meeting with an academic advisor should be completed as soon as possible, preferably after you obtain placement test scores. If you have college credit from another institution, bring that information with you and have original transcripts sent directly from your prior school(s) to Educational Records.
