MONTGOMERY GI BILL

(MGIB) CHAPTER 30

Individuals entering military service on or after July 1, 1985, may have elected to have their basic pay reduced by $100 per month for the first 12 months of their service, thereby making themselves eligible for this educational assistance program.  Once deductions are made, no refunds are issued.  For MGIB, submit an application (22-1990) and a recorded copy of the DD-214 to the College for processing and forwarding to the VA.  For forms click here.

Eligibility is also extended to those having Chapter 34 (Vietnam-era) eligibility who had remaining entitlement as of Dec 31,1989.  These veterans will hereafter be referred to as Chapter 34/30 veterans.  All benefits must be used by the delimiting date (the date that benefits end).

For Chapter 34/30s, submit an application (22-1990) and VA form 21-686c, if applicable, to the College. Please note: Certified copies of marriage and dependents birth certificates must be submitted with form 21-686c.
