Remedial Classes

VA benefits cover required remedial classes designated by testing.  Students who, through testing, transcript review, or class work, do not demonstrate college-level proficiency in the areas of writing, reading and/or math skills, are placed into non-credit courses.  Once the basic skills classes are successfully completed, the student may then advance into the college-level courses.  Do not register for any of these classes without first checking with an academic advisor in Enrollment Services.  If you are a Chapter 31 veteran, please follow the guidance of your case manager.
