Shamrocks Available Spring 2014!

The Student Government Association sponsors a shamrock fundraising event for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, all clubs are welcome to participate and see which club raises the most money. Shamrocks will be sold from February 1 - March 17.  Buying a shamrock for just $1 will help a MDA child be sent to camp.

What is MDA Summer Camp?

"MDA Summer Camp gives children the opportunity to participate in outside activities, such as horse-back riding, fishing and swimming.

Children with neuromuscular disorders annually enjoy a free camp adventure at MDA's week long Summer Camp session.  Each camper is accompanied by a volunteer counselor who provides the care, supervision and attention children with muscle-wasting diseases need.

It costs $600 for one of these special children to attend Summer Camp.  This cost is not paid by the families but by MDA.  With your help, camp is a reality for children ages 6-21 who suffer neuromuscular disease."
