September 2016

FREE Total Body Class-Mondays from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, will be located in the Selby Room 802/812 room side - Offered through Pride in Wellness, this is a dynamic, low impact whole body muscle conditioning class using dumbbells as a resistance tool and a mat as an easy approach to core development. Exercises will be modified to accommodate all fitness levels. Be prepared to work all your muscles! Selby Room 802/812 room side. Classes start September 12- worth 50 wellpoints for each class (maximum of 300 wellpoints for self-defense classes can be earned per semester).

FREE ZUMBA Class-Thursdays from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, will be located in the Student Union - Offered through Pride in Wellness, a fun, Latin-inspired calorie torching, fat-burning cardiovascular exercise class without complex choreographies. This class will enhance your balance and flexibility, increase your stamina and muscle tone, and help you lose weight all while having fun with friends. Ditch the workout, join the party! Classes start September 15- worth 50 wellpoints for each class (maximum of 300 wellpoints for self-defense classes can be earned per semester).

Tuesday, September 27th – Blood Drive from 9:00am to 3:00pm, Suncoast Communities Blood Bank will be in front of building 800– worth 50 wellpoints for a successful donation (extra wellpoints available for a double donation). You may also obtain wellpoints for any documented donation given off campus.

FALL Venice Yoga Class Schedule (each class worth 50 wellpoints)

FREE Yoga classes-Mondays, 4-5pm, will be in the 801/811 half of Bldg. 800 - Selby Room except for August 22nd and 29th and September 12th and 19th because Financial Aid will be in that space.  Those dates will be in the 802/812 half of Selby.  There will be no class on September 5th because of the Labor Day holiday.

FREE Yoga classes-Fridays, 12-1pm, will be in the 801/811 half of Bldg. 800 - Selby Room except for August 26th and September 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd also because Financial Aid will be in that space.  Those dates will be in the 802/812 half of Selby.  Due to a community conflict reservation of the entire Selby room, the October 14th class has been reserved at the Performance Pavilion.  The Lakeside Pavilion is also reserved for that date.  There will be no classes on October 28th (All College Development Day), November 11th (Veterans Day holiday) and November 25th (Thanksgiving holiday).
