Short-term and late-starting courses have published drop-with-refund deadlines in the class schedule and in course comments in SCF web registration.
Payment Deadlines and Reminders for Students with Financial Aid (FinAid)
FinAid includes scholarships (SCF, SCF Foundation, private donor and Bright Futures), grants, student loans, Florida Prepaid, third party accounts (Jobs Etc., Vocational Rehabilitation, etc.) and any other financial assistance managed through the College for payment of course costs and/or books.
May 10 - All awarded FinAid available to pay for course costs, books and authorized supplies.
Books may be charged against awarded FinAid in The SCF Store if FinAid is greater than course tuition and fees. Review your account balance online at SCF Connect and click on the My Tuition Bill link. If you have a credit balance, go directly to The SCF Store at SCF Bradenton or SCF Venice to purchase books and authorized supplies.
May 14 -
Deadline to pay any balances not covered by FinAid,
including the Florida Prepaid and/or Bright Futures Scholarships.
May 23 - Final deadline to use FinAid in The SCF Store (for ALL Summer A, B and C terms).
June 1 - FinAid enrollment status date for the Summer 2012 term.
Total credit hours registered for on this date will be used to establish FinAid eligibility.
All future class registrations after this date will not be eligible for federal FinAid for the Summer 2012 term.
June 6 - All charges due SCF will be deducted from the disbursement of any scholarships, grants, and/or returning student loans, and any eligible balances will be posted to SCF OneCard accounts.
June 18 - All charges due SCF will be deducted from the disbursement of loans for first time borrowers, and any eligible balances will be posted to SCF OneCard accounts.
June 27 - All charges due SCF will be deducted from the second disbursement of student loan funds for Summer 2012 only loans, and any eligible balances will be posted to SCF OneCard accounts.
Any changes to your schedule may affect the amount of your FinAid award.
