Orientation
Orientation is part of the enrollment process at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) and is mandatory for all new students (part- and full-time) prior to registering for their first term at the College. New student orientations are held each term and are designed to provide students with information on programs, services and facilities to allow them to make successful, informed decisions.
The New Student Orientation is designed:
§ For all first-time-in college students.
§ To introduce you to the exciting possibilities available through student activities. From competitive academic teams and intramural sports to a wide variety of campus clubs and organizations, there is something for everyone at SCF!
§ To provide you with resources that enable student success.
§ To describe the academic programs available at SCF and the requirements for each program.
§ To assist you with selecting and registering for your first semester of coursework.
§ To answer all your questions about college life at SCF from your first day of classes through graduation.
