CommunityThe word “community” is an important part of our name, and we are committed to remaining flexible and responsive to the needs of the community. In addition to graduating more than 32,000 students in the past 50 years, most of whom stay in the area and contribute to its quality of life, SCF offers a variety of services and activities for residents of all ages. We also rely on local support to ensure that our College continues to provide high-quality education. This Web page offers a centralized listing of resources available to the community as well as ways that people in the area can get involved with SCF.
The Public is InvitedServices to the community include dental hygiene treatments, rental facilities, athletic and arts events, and non-credit courses. You are welcome to attend exhibits at the fine art gallery or student theatre productions. Whether you’re interested in taking a personal enrichment art class or completing your GED, SCF offers many non-credit classes.

Employers can post job vacancies and internship opportunities through the SCF Web site. Businesses wishing to become a supplier for SCF can contact our purchasing department.
Friends of the CollegeThrough the Foundation for SCF, individuals, organizations, corporations, and public and private foundations offer generous support that help fulfill the priority initiatives of the College.
