Language Courses

FRE 1120-1121 Elementary French I and II (4-4)(A.A.)

Three hours per week, plus a required online lab component. Prerequisite of FRE 1121: FRE 1120. This course includes fundamentals of grammar with emphasis on reading, speaking and listening.

FRE 2200-2201 Intermediate French I and II (4-4)(A.A.)

Three hours per week, plus a required online lab component.  Prerequisites FRE 1120-1121 or equivalent. These courses include readings in the literature and cultural history of France, with discussion. Grammar is reviewed and oral facility is emphasized. 

GER 1120-1121 Elementary German I and II (4-4)(A.A.)

Three hours per week, plus a required online lab component.  Prerequisite of GER 1121: GER 1120. This course includes fundamentals of grammar with emphasis on reading, speaking and listening. 

GER 2200-2201 Intermediate German I and II (4-4)(A.A.)

Three hours per week, plus a required online lab component.  Prerequisites GER 1120-1121 or equivalent. These courses include readings in the literature and cultural history of Germany, with discussion. Grammar is reviewed and oral facility is emphasized. 

SPN 1120-1121 Elementary Spanish I and II (4-4)(A.A.)

Three hours per week, plus a required online lab component.  Prerequisite of SPN 1121: SPN 1120. This course includes fundamentals of grammar with emphasis on reading, speaking and listening. 

SPN 2200-2201 Intermediate Spanish I and II (4-4)(A.A.)

 Three hours per week, plus a required online lab component. Prerequisites SPN 1120-1121 or equivalent. These courses include readings in the literature and cultural history of Spanish-speaking countries, with discussion. Grammar is reviewed and oral facility is emphasized.
