SCF to Offer Summer Camp Program for Students Ages 7-14

(Bradenton, Fla., May 15, 2019)State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will offer a Summer Camp, with morning sessions from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and afternoon sessions from 1:30 to 5 p.m., June 3 -   Aug. 2 at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th Street W. and SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway E. Early registration is encouraged. 

SCF Summer Camp sessions include fun and educational activities that engage students in astronomy, arts and crafts, chemistry, cooking, computers, history, music, personal finance, safety and sports. With dozens of different classes offered, students have many opportunities to explore their interests. New classes this year include Artistic Expressions, Jazzy Hip Hop, Let’s All Move, Shark Tank, and offerings in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) areas like App Attack!, Design your First Video Game, Code Breakers and more. 

The cost ranges from $75 to $145 per weekly session. Early arrival is available for an extra $25 a week. Students enrolled for the entire day are required to bring their lunches.
