Guest Artist Hein Jung to Perform at SCF Jan. 29 – Master Class Held on Jan. 30

(Bradenton, Fla., January 16, 2013) — Guest artists Hein Jung, soprano, and Grigorios Zamparas, piano, will present an evening of art songs and opera at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 29, in State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota’s (SCF) Neel Performing Arts Center at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West. Jung will present a master class at 1 p.m., Jan. 30, in the SCF music building, room 189. The master class is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature “Tre Sonnetti di Petrarca” by Franz Liszt and “Groβmächtige Prinzessin” from“Ariadne auf Naxos” by Richard Strauss.

Jung, an assistant professor of music at University of Tampa, has a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison. She specializes in opera, oratorios and recitals and has performed throughout the United States and internationally.
