Four from SCF Receive NISOD Awards

(Bradenton, Fla., February 22, 2013) - Four National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) award recipients from State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will be recognized at the 2013 International Institute Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence held in Austin, Texas, from May 26-29.

The award recognizes exemplary faculty, staff and administrators at community colleges nationwide. SCF recipients are LouAnn Gregory, academic department secretary, music; Dr. Kathryn Stuckey, associate professor and Early Childhood Program director; John Waters, professor and department chair, math, science, technology and business; and Stacey Sharples, director of admissions. 

Sharples also received the 2012 Vice President of Service Excellence Award from the educational and student services division.
