SCF Studio 84 Productions Presents “Mrs. Bob Cratchit’s Wild Christmas Binge”

 (Bradenton, Fla., November 27, 2013) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Studio 84 Productions will present “Mrs. Bob Cratchit’s Wild Christmas Binge” by Christopher Durang at 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Nov. 29-30; Monday, Dec. 2; and Friday-Saturday, Dec. 6-7, in the David S. and Anne V. Howard Studio Theatre at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., building 11 West. A matinee performance is scheduled at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1.

In this musical parody of “A Christmas Carol,” the Ghost of Christmas Past and Ebenezer Scrooge arrive too early at the Cratchits’ house and discover that Mrs. Bob Cratchit hates Tiny Tim and her 20 other children. She would rather spend Christmas Eve at the corner pub drinking a few Tequila Surprises and jumping off London Bridge.

The production is directed by Kenneth Erickson Jr., SCF Theatre Program director and Neel Performing Arts Center manager. Cast members include SCF students Jason Ellis, Jade Turner, Dylan Buckley, Alexandra Cowan, Nicola Bagnardi, Andrew Brennan, Jaelyn Clark, Amanda Joy, Maria Pederson, Mary Ellis, Rachel Laurie, Kristina Klein, Jordan Dixon, Tarik Jenkins, Cole Finselber and Darian Canton.
