Mary Wilson to Present Master Class Feb. 12

(Bradenton, Fla., January 28, 2014) — Soprano Mary Wilson will present a master class at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., in Neel Performing Arts Center, Building 11 East, located off 60th Avenue West between 26th and 34th streets, accessible from parking lots H or I.

Wilson is acknowledged as one of today's most exciting young artists. With a wide-ranging career singing chamber music, oratorio and operatic repertoire, Wilson is also an accomplished pianist and appears on stages across the United States.  She will perform with the Artist Series of Sarasota and Key Chorale while she is in Sarasota.

Named an emerging artist by Symphony Magazine in 2004, Wilson holds performance degrees from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., and Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.

The master class is presented in cooperation with Artist Series Concerts of Sarasota.
