SCF Offers Noncredit Commercial Food Equipment Repair Technician Online Course

(Bradenton, Fla., March 4, 2014) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Corporate and Community Development (CCD) offers an online Commercial Food Equipment and Repair Technician course.

The course, which covers basic topics in electricity, gas and steam, is an introduction to the commercial food equipment industry.

Developed by Ignitor Labs, the course is endorsed by the Commercial Food Equipment Service Association. Participants who successfully complete the program will have a guaranteed job interview with an authorized service company and have access to a proprietary database of more than 800 service company locations interested in hiring technicians.
