All Members of the 2014 Dental Hygiene Class Pass National Examination
(Bradenton, Fla., May 16, 2014) — The entire 2014 State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) dental hygiene
class passed the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination on the first attempt, continuing
the tradition of SCF’s 100 percent pass rate since the program began 15 years ago.
Members of the 2014 graduating class included Kayla Bazell, Bradenton; Michelle Bellina,
Sarasota; Donna Cruzan, North Port; Danielle Golden, Nokomis; Shaina Gormley, Bradenton;
Andrea McBride, Bradenton; Melissa Skinner, North Port; and Yuliya Smirnov, Sarasota.
Pam Kennard is SCF’s Dental Hygiene program director. As one of the health professions
at SCF, the Dental Hygiene Program offers students the opportunity to gain practical
experience on modern equipment in SCF’s Dental Hygiene Clinic designed for patient
comfort and quality care.
