SCF Offers Additional Noncredit Class on Social Media for Business

(Bradenton, Fla., Aug. 14, 2014) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Corporate and Community Development (CCD), in partnership with the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce and the Venice Young Professionals Group, has added a second noncredit Social Media for Business class 4 - 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce Conference Room, 597 South Tamiami Trail, Venice.

There was an overwhelming response to the first session of this class, in which participants learn a four-step process to grow their businesses by using Facebook, Twitter, video and email marketing, and other online marketing strategies.

The session also will cover an overview of social media, tips on how to create a social media strategy and proper tools to automate and measure results.

The fee is $15 for chamber members; $20 for nonmembers. Seating is limited; payment is required by Aug. 21 to confirm reservation. Check-in on Aug. 26 begins at 3:30 p.m.
