SCF Studio 84 Productions Presents “Christmas Stories”

(Bradenton, Fla., Nov. 10, 2014) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Studio 84 Productions will present “Christmas Stories”  Nov. 28-Dec. 6 in the Howard Studio Theatre at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W.

Show times are 8 p.m. Nov. 28 and 29, and Dec. 1, 5 and 6, with a matinee at 2 p.m. Nov. 30.

“Christmas Stories” is a collection of adaptations of short Christmas stories by such well-known authors as Mark Twain, O. Henry, Pearl S. Buck, Leo Tolstoy, Charles Tazewell and Frank L. Baum.

The anthology features SCF students Hayley Avery, Summer Begalka, Jalex Beghtel, Jaelynn Clark, Adam Condor, John David Dorsey, Mary Ellis, Alley Hathaway, Kristina Klein, Jonathan Lee and Tyler Rudolf. The cast also includes Laurel Nokomis Elementary School student Nicola Bagnardi and SCF staff member Carolyn Zaput. Co-directors are SCF’s Ken Erickson and James Thaggard.

General admission is $12, student tickets are $10 and go on sale Nov. 18 at the Neel Performing Arts Center box office, Building 11 East.

The Howard Studio Theatre is Building 11 West, off 60th Avenue West between 26th and 34th streets, accessible from parking lot I.
