Sundays at Neel to Present The Brothers Four

(Bradenton, Fla., Jan. 22, 2016) – State College of Florida (SCF) Foundation’s Sundays at Neel series will feature The Brothers Four at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, in Neel Performing Arts Center at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., Building 11 East. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at the Neel box office or by calling 941-752-5252.

Since the early 1960s The Brothers Four have been “America’s Musical Ambassadors to the World,” playing thousands of concerts, performing for U.S. presidents and exciting fans world-wide. An American folk singing group, The Brothers Four are most known for their million-seller releases including “Greenfields,” “Try to Remember” and the Academy Award-nominated “The Green Leaves of Summer” from the movie “The Alamo.”  They also recorded the song for the Hollywood film “Five Weeks in a Balloon” in 1962 and the theme song for the ABC television series Hootenanny, “Hootenanny Saturday Night,” in 1963.

Individual tickets to any concert in the series are $30 or $35. Upcoming concerts include Buddy (Holly) and Beyond on Feb. 14 and New Odyssey on Feb. 28.
