Sundays at Neel to Present Buddy & Beyond

(Bradenton, Fla., Jan. 28, 2016) – State College of Florida (SCF) Foundation’s Sundays at Neel series will feature Buddy (Holly) & Beyond at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, in Neel Performing Arts Center at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., Building 11 East.

Johnny Rogers has thrilled audiences across the globe with his passion for the music of Buddy Holly and the talent to perform the world’s finest tribute to a music legend. From “Peggy Sue,” “That’ll Be The Day,” and “Maybe Baby,” to “Oh Boy” and many more. Buddy Holly influenced such music legends as Elvis Presley, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Rogers captures the essence of this beloved entertainer and often performs with Tommy Allsup, Buddy’s backup band, with the endorsement of Buddy’s brother.

The show also features music from Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Ricky Nelson, Roy Orbison and more. Throughout the performance, you will travel along a timeline of music as you experience the sounds of The King, reminisce over the crooning sounds of Roy Orbison or delight in the southern rock sounds of Creedence Clearwater Revival.
