Tamiami Trail, Building 800, Selby Room. The event is free and open to the public.

Sultan is the president and founder of TMC (The Muslim Connection), an organization geared toward creating a safe space through education programs. He is the Islamic Studies teacher and Athletics Director at the Universal Academy of Florida and is principal of a Saturday school with 170 students.

“There are a lot of misconceptions about Islam, thus creating fear, hatred and confusion on what Islam really is. The goal of the talk is to give a clear idea of what Islam and Muslims really are,” said Dr. Woody McCree, associate professor of Art, Design and Humanities.
