Sundays at Neel to Present Jay White as Neil Diamond

(Bradenton, Fla., Feb. 23, 2016) – State College of Florida (SCF) Foundation’s Sundays at Neel series will feature Jay White as Neil Diamond at 2 p.m. March 20 in Neel Performing Arts Center at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., Building 11 East.

Jay White’s every movement, sound and expression are tributes to the passion and power of the real Neil Diamond. Audiences and critics agree that Jay White is the most convincing tribute artist in the world.

White’s career as a Neil Diamond tribute artist began in 1983 in Michigan. Performing as a solo tribute act, his is the longest running of its kind in the United States. In 1996, White met Diamond before his Las Vegas MGM appearances, where Neil told Jay to, “Keep up the good work!” and autographed a photo signing “Jay keep singing, so I can stay home and relax.” In 2008, he appeared as Neil Diamond in the Ron Howard-directed movie “Frost/Nixon” and in 2011, appeared in “Beautiful Noise.”
