Student Exhibit Opens at SCF Fine Art Gallery

(Bradenton, Fla., March 22, 2018) — The Fine Art Gallery at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host a reception 5-7 p.m. on April 6 for a new student art exhibit. The reception in the gallery, at SCF Bradenton Building 11, 5840 26th St. W.  is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

The juried exhibit, which includes two- and three-dimensional art by SCF’s students, will continue through April 27. Sean Carey, founder and CEO of HD Interactive, a software development company specializing in virtual reality and augmented reality hologram applications, serves as the distinguished guest juror. Students will receive awards in graphic design, photography, two-dimensional art and three-dimensional art.  During the reception, winners of the gallery director’s award, president’s award, juror’s award and best in show will be announced. Some student art is available for purchase.
