History and Political Science Club at SCF Contributes to Wounded Warriors

(Bradenton, Fla., May 15, 2018) — The History and Political Science Club at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) raised $150 for the Wounded Warrior Project to help injured and disabled veterans during a recent free performance of “Give ‘Em Hell Harry.” The students raised money by selling food after the performance.

Veteran actor Jack Rabito put on a one-person act about the life and presidency of Harry S. Truman. The performance was free and open to the public. Afterward, the students in the club announced they were accepting donations for the Wounded Warrior Project from anyone who wanted pizza. The students are grateful for the donations received and the support for the project, which benefits veterans and service members who incurred an injury during their military service. The project’s mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors.
