Grab a Cup of Coffee and a Good Book at SCF Bradenton

(Bradenton, Fla., Sept. 27, 2018) — As National Coffee Day approaches, it’s a great time to consider checking out the Starbucks café in the new Library and Learning Center at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF), 5840 26th St. W., Bradenton. Located on the ground floor, just inside the north entrance, the café is open 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday; 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Friday; and 4:30-7:30 p.m. Sunday, contingent upon the library’s Sunday hours.

The Library and Learning Center opened earlier this year, and the onsite café has been a popular place for students, faculty and staff, and the community to gather for a caffeine fix. Most of Starbucks’ popular drink options are available as well as sandwiches, fruit, yogurt and plenty of sweet things to choose from.

Not a student, but looking for something to read while visiting the café? Community members with a Manatee or Sarasota County library card can access the library and check out books if they have an SCF community library card, available from the Department of Public Safety office in Building 14. Swing by their office on your way to the Starbucks.
